I will teach you how to make the real Italian pasta from scratch. We will make two italian traditional pastas: ravioli and fettuccine. In addition to making homemade pasta we will prepare different sauces: Tomato and basil, Amatriciana, Gricia, Butter and sage. I live in a 17° century building 50 meters close to Piazza Campo dei Fiori. I'll wait for you there, in one of the most ancient square of Rome to tell you welcome to this traditional experience. We'll have a short speach in my penthouse (with a 360 view of the Roma roofs) to break the ice and talk about roman cuisine, then I'll show you ingredients we'll need. Then the cooking class can begin! You will become a perfect italian chef in only 3 hours. When we are finished we will cook, eat, and savour our pasta together. Throughout the years, we have mastered different mosaic techniques, both traditional and modern. That is why you will find the studio full of original tools, sketches by famous Italian artists, and important mosaics masterpieces. The workshop will begin with an introduction to Roman mosaic technique and history. Afterwards, you will practice the principles of texture, composition and marble tile cutting to create your own mosaic to take home. It is fundamental to us to transfer the real techniques of Roman Mosaic craft. Therefore, your mosaic will be correct and based on Ancient mosaic rules. The final result is your own personal mosaic to take home that will be approximately 7” x 5”, weighing 14 oz. A master mosaicist will share important tips, and provide the assistance you need to ensure the best result. This is a full immersion work experience. You are going to work in an authentic mosaic studio and handle specific tools. For safety reasons, we recommend starting this experience from 12 years on.

At each place, we will get pictures taken by the staff or from me. Each stop will be 10-15 minutes and the guests are free to visit the locations alone if they wish so.. During this experience you'll be able to immerse yourself in my family long time farm history. It will be my pleasure welcoming you with a cup of coffee before visiting our cellar and garden where we'll pick some vegetables to use for the class. Then we'll jump to the kitchen and put our hands in the dough or, using an Italian expression, "mettere le mani in pasta". I'll explain and provide the ingredients needed, their proportions, the full process and methods included all the tricks and how to use all the necessary tolls. Then we'll prepare the sauce using ingredients from our farm, in particular our organic vegetables. After making the tagliatelle and ravioli , it will be time to make the typical Italian cake 'tiramisù' following the recipe of my great grandma. We are now ready to enjoy a delicious dish of handmade tagliatelle accompanied with a nice glass of our organic wine and finally the amazing tiramisù. This experience also includes a pice of our homemade limoncello. All the food will be prepared and served with our own organic extra virgin olive oil. Be prepared to live a unique experience, in contact with dogs and nature! Take a break from the city chaos that fills our days every day. After an introduction to the world of truffles, we will begin our hunt. You will see how the trained dogs hunt for truffles and the passion they have, this being a very rewarding activity for them. Depending on the period we will go to different types of woods and the meeting point may change. Truffle hunting is also accessible to children (my dogs will be happy to play with them!). After the truffle hunting we will have a lunch with truffle dishes. The menu is vast so I don't suggest you have a big breakfast! We also have menus for vegetarians, celiacs, vegans and we can also change it according to your allergies or intolerances. During lunch we will have the opportunity to get to know each other better, drinking good wine and eating fresh seasonal truffles. Other things to remember. Long, comfortable trousers are required (ankles must be covered). I also suggest wearing a pair of boots. If you don't have them, sneakers are fine too.

In the morning, with me and my husband, we will visit a winery located in an area with a beautiful scenery, where we will learn all the secrets of Prosecco wine making and taste some glasses of this famous sparkling wine! We will then visit a local Osteria lost in the middle of the hills, and will have an aperitivo in front of the vineyards, while listening to the delightful singing of the birds! We will meet my family, while enjoying a typical lunch in our family owned osteria, where traditional dishes are prepared using our grandma's recipes, and where the typical "spiedo" meat cooks slowly near the fire! All desserts are home made by my brother and are really a sweet end of a delicious 4 courses meal! We will visit a second winery, where we will meet friends that run a very high quality DOCG Prosecco winery and produce wines using ancient types of vines and lots of passion! Finally, in summer time only (Apr to Oct), there could be the possibility of enjoying a unique picnic experience in a stunning area in the middle of the vineyards.

We will explore my vineyard, passing trough the orchard and the cave where I collect seasonal products (vegetables, cheese and charcuterie). Once in the wine cellar, we will start the tasting of 4 house wines (red and white) and I will explain the production process. Later, on the panoramic terrace just in front of the winery, we will eat some fresh salami and cheese plates that I produce. You will taste your own pasta, with two different kind of italian fresh sauce, created and explained by the chef, immersed in a magical atmosphere between past and present. You will make the thin dough sheet with the rolling pin professional technique, safe food cutting procedures, realization of ravioli, agnolotti, tortellini cappelletti and fettuccine. The experience includes a delicious tasting of local cheese with fresh prosecco. Tasting our different kind of pasta, sipping good Italian wine, an express tiramisu preparation will follow as a dessert. We will spend the tour around the special spots of the eternal city, where I will make capture your moments. With my 9 years of experience as a fashion photographer and filmmaker, you will have the chance to feel the Italian fashion life. My mission is not only to create creative vision a of this day but tell the story, show your emotions, and give you an opportunity to come back to this day through your photos. I’ll help you how to act and feel comfortable with the camera as a real fashion star. It's not a problem if you don't know how to pose. Making you feel comfortable in front of the camera is my job. I will suggest to you about the dress for the shooting. Also, we can use some accessories like newspaper, fashion magazine and coffee on the shooting. Your adventure will begin close to St. Maria Maggiore (Meeting Point: Via Antonio Rosmini 22), one of the most beautiful basilicas of Rome. Pedal up to the top of the Campidoglio hill where you will admire one of the most striking panoramas at sunrise of the eternal city. Rome always has its charm but the Fori Imperiali, Campidoglio, and Circo Massimo when the city is still asleep provoke unique emotions that you must experience at least once in your life! Next stop breakfast! If you have never heard of Sant’Eustachio Il Caffè, It is the most exclusive place for breakfast in Rome! Remember to bring a coin, you will need one at the Fontana di Trevi to make sure one day you will return to Rome. Other things to note Bring just your camera and your smile!

I will teach you how to make the real Italian pasta from scratch. We will make two italian traditional pastas: ravioli and fettuccine. In addition to making homemade pasta we will prepare different sauces: Tomato and basil, Amatriciana, Gricia, Butter and sage. I live in a 17° century building 50 meters close to Piazza Campo dei Fiori. I'll wait for you there, in one of the most ancient square of Rome to tell you welcome to this traditional experience. We'll have a short speach in my penthouse (with a 360 view of the Roma roofs) to break the ice and talk about roman cuisine, then I'll show you ingredients we'll need. Then the cooking class can begin! You will become a perfect italian chef in only 3 hours. When we are finished we will cook, eat, and savour our pasta together. I’ll tell you all the secrets for the italian handmade pasta and some tipa to replicate easy at home. Other things to note: We don't have a gluten free option, sorry.
