Welcome to Austin's #1 booked tour! I can say with confidence this is the best group on the water. March 5th Update: The bats are back and they've been amazing. Come see for yourself! Let's meet up for an epic night of kayaking. It's 4 incredible trips in one. 1st you paddle the length of downtown during the day and then we catch the sunset over the water. The bats are the main event and we end with downtown paddle at night! Add in a full moon or bright stars occasionally and this trip is one not to miss! If trip is sold out, ask if I can fit you in. Book through me because: I'm a traveler and Airbnb host as well so I know what you want out of the trip. On top of bat facts, i'll give you more freedom to kayak, make sure to take great photos of you on the tour, and make sure you meet other like minded travelers in the group who can share their tips or even join you for a night out afterwards. I've got good travel stories for days and lots of local insight to help you build out the best plan for the rest of your stay. Bad weather = full refund. You won't find a guide who tries harder to make sure you have the best night possible. You'll also be given high quality photos at the end of your trip! Need one more reason to book? My auto reply to your booking confirmation comes with my custom "Must do" in Austin link to help you plan the rest of your trip
Float the Canyons of the Rio Grande
Imagine floating thru the epic canyons of the Rio Grande on a full day, fully guided, fully equipped trip. The Rio is mostly flat water for a scenic adventure. The river has class I rapids that is perfect for our first timers. Come learn and/or work on your boating skills. The water levels fluctuate and can influence what boats we take: rafts (we can row you down the river or everyone paddles), canoes, or kayaks. Throughout the winter season, the river is usually not more than thigh deep. Riding in a raft with all your favorite people makes for some fun pictures. We can row you down the river in a raft or if you/some/all want to paddle raft that is a great option too. At lower water levels we like to canoe and kayak. The canoes are 2 seaters with the option to ride smaller kids in the middle. The kayaks are single or tandem sit in or sit on top and are totally lots of fun. Weather also can influence what the choice boat would be. We meet up in the morning and then drive down to the river. Included is all gear and dry bags. Please bring your own food and beverages. A cooler to put your lunch in and ice water is provided. Wear shoes you don't mind getting wet. Other things to note We will meet at 9 a.m. central time (check your clock) at the office of Big Bend Boating & Hiking Company. Pack a camera, snacks, a lunch, water bottle and big smiles for a great day

Are you planning a fun and unique experience for your bachelor/bachelorette party or large group, or are you a single traveler looking to meet some friends while visiting Austin? Look no further! Join us at Cosmic Coffee and Biergarten (121 Pickle Road) where we will kick off the festivities and then take a short 25-minute drive to San Marcos, home of the crystal clear, spring-fed waters of the San Marcos River. Ring make-and-take with local artist
We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Once everyone is settled with a beverage, I'll do a quick demonstration to show you the techniques and procedures for making several different styles of rings. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. For those who are interested, you will also have an opportunity to tour our urban homestead and be immersed in the many endeavors we have going. Other things to note: -We have free-range chickens and 2 outdoor farm cats. All are friendly. :) -If you aren't seeing the date or time you'd like available on the calendar, feel free to send me a message and we'll try to work something out if possible! -In order to maintain the very intimate nature of this experience and the value for all guests, we typically do not allow non-participating onlookers. Please ensure you book a slot for all members of your party so we can be adequately prepared for you.

Enjoy an all-inclusive, 3 course progressive meal from the culinary gems of Austin as well as a scenic and historic tour (all in one!) with one of our amazing pedicab guides! We will meet at Flat Track - a coffee shop conjoined with CycleEast, a bike repair shop. We encourage you to come in early, have a cup of coffee and take a peek into Austin’s local bike scene. After introductions we’ll pedal you to our first locale - Tamale House, a 3rd generation family owned Mexican restaurant. There you’ll experience the nostalgia of Old Austin, eat authentic, handmade Migas (breakfast tacos) paired with a delicious margarita and hear about the Latin history of this neighborhood. Next, we’ll journey to La Barbeque! You’ll sample a juicy bbq plate and wash it down with a beer. After you get your brisket-fill you’ll get to relax on a scenic ride through the East Austin neighborhood, Downtown and SOCO. No feast is complete without dessert! For the final leg of the journey we’ll whisk you away to the SOCO district to a local favorite and staple- Amy’s Ice Creams. We'll give you the option of being dropped off at the pick up location, anywhere downtown, or you might choose to stay and explore theunique shops and restaurants of SOCO.
Ghost Tours with Ghost Hunting Equipment
I run a ghost tour that is easily the most entertaining ghost tour on the island. Not only is it highly informative, providing lots of interesting facts and haunted history about Galveston Island, but easily the most unique ghost tour on the island, with an emphasis on providing a fun, entertaining experience on the island, which is why we won the 2022 TAH Award for Best Ghost Tour in Texas. Our tour guides provide ghost hunting gear for each group. We have a day time cemetery tour and a night time ghost tour down in the historic Strand District. Each are an hour long. At the cemetery tour, you can see things like the only place in the country where a murderer is buried along side their victims, the grave of a slain mardi gras queen, and more. The Strand tour takes you through the one of the most haunted places in the country; The Strand in Galveston. Learn about the 1900 hurricane (which killed between 6 and 10 thousand people overnight,) see where the city of Galveston used to hold executions, and learn about the pirates that used to populate the island.
Secret Food Tours Austin
We'll meet in front of the Ellis cocktail bar at 111 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. First up, you'll dig into some Central Texas pit-style BBQ brisket served with the best pinto beans ever. Next, you'll enjoy a breakfast taco, a local favourite with a cult-like following. On our stroll, we'll say "howdy" to Willie Nelson, an Austin icon, and pass by where Austin City Limits is held. Afterwards, we will stop at one of our favorite food trucks for a secret bite– a fusion dish that will blow your mind. Then it's time for a cool down with a smoothie made with local Texas wildflower honey. After several great bites, we'll take a stroll down Congress Ave to see and talk about some of our protected historic buildings. As if you weren’t already full, we are right back where we started to sample a local staple food truck turned brick and mortar. And finally, we'll round things out with a flan-inspired creation made just for our tour. We end the tour pretty much where we start it.

We'll get you into three where we can order drinks! Meet downtown and we'll sit and chat for a few minutes introducing ourselves and what it means to call a bar a speakeasy in Austin, TX. Then, we walk to the first bar. All the bars are located downtown within a few blocks of each other. We'll spend 30-45 minutes in each of three bars, having drinks, learning about the place, and appreciating the aesthetic. Throughout the night we will continue on past several more hidden-face speakeasy style bars, stopping in some and just stopping to talk about others. The night ends once you get into the third and final bar and get your drinks ordered. We do not to include drinks to give you a lower price and more choice. We will have a group tab which can be paid for via cash, Apple Pay and Cash App. Prices vary by venue but $15-25 per drink (including a 20% tip) is a good ballpark.
