Good surf beach and there's a big sand dune at the top car park end (near Paritutu Rock) which provides a challenging workout (there's also stairs if the dune is too much)

Overlooking Sugar Loaf Marine Park and Paritutu, Back Beach is a very popular place for experienced surfers who can make the most of the shifting sand banks. A must visit for all.

Back Beach is our local beach, take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the sea views. Plenty of surfers hang out here too.

Great surfing beach for learners, low tide walk to view the Sugarloaf Islands up close. Watch the mesmerizing swarm of starlings as they come down to roost at sunset! 8min drive.
